I finally got my hands on an actual SLR camera. its only entry level but its what i really need to get serious about my photography again. I am still getting use to it and once i know it well i will start uploading photos again.

So all of my photos are done with a Canon Powershot S3 IS. A camera that isn't even an SLR. I have experienced many limits with this camera. The manual focus is annoying as you have to hold one button down while pressing up and down with the arrow buttons and its hard to see how well focused it is through the view finder so it is slow to focus it manually. Also, even though it has 10x optical zoom, i find it isn't enough for taking shots of wildlife at times as i am still too close for their comfort and they run or fly away. I desperately need a digital SLR so that i can go further in my photography. also with a digital SLR i can do a c

So.. its been a long time since i made a journal entry. I dont really take a lot of photos it seems. I have trouble coming up with ideas or finding things to take photos of. Maybe its because i live in the suburbs with not much i like to take photos of. So i was wondering.. Can anyone give me suggestions on what i could do for inspiration or something like that? any suggestions will be appreciated. Thankyou for your time. Take care and God bless.
